We may not be able to go out for Valentine's Day this year, but you can bring romantic decor to your home through some simple arts and crafts - and love isn't just for V Day - there's no reason love themed decor can't be displayed all year round!

Check out these cute painted mason jars by Rustic Soul Vintage Goods (left pic) and Grace on Broadway (right pic). They've been painted with Dixie Belle Chalk Paint and they are perfect for displaying a bouquet of flowers or as tea light holders. Chalk paint sticks so well to glass jars and this is a fun one to do with the kids!

I love pink so last weekend I revamped some black kitchen stools with dusky pink from Autentico - check out my videos on TikTok to see more!

Algonquin Dreams!

This gorgeous Queen Anne sideboard transformation by Sophie Anderson proves that things don't have to be pink to be romantic! Sophie used Algonquin from Fusion Mineral Paint to create this charming look - so simple but oh so effective! Algonquin is a really versatile colour - it's a deep taupe neutral colour, a yellow-beige, a brownish-grey or a grey-sage depending on the light - and easy to match with many colour schemes.

Sophie primed the sideboard before painting and used General Finishes Top Coat to seal and protect it. Also featured is the smaller matching console table Sophie transformed previously. We think she did a beautiful job!
