We are very excited to announce that we will soon be stocking Zibra brushes at Shabby Nook! These fab brushes are only just arriving in the UK. They have specially engineered bristles designed to balance softness and stiffness which gives them incredible paint pick up and controlled paint release. They have the highest bristle count compared to any other brush on the market and you can feel the difference just by touching them. The bristles are extremely soft and dense resulting a super smooth finish.
These brushes are built to last and have ergonomic handles meaning they are comfortable to use too. They come in different shapes and sizes so you can find the perfect brush to complete your paint projects with ease!

In the Spotlight this week is Sandy Campbell with this gorgeous boho beauty, which Sandy christened Rosa! The sideboard was painted with Fusion Mineral Paint in Midnight Blue as a base coat and as an accent colour inside. The outside was then painted in a mix of Fusion Milk Paint in Casa Rosa and Palm Springs creating a pretty and soft coral pink hue. The piece was distressed, and dark wax applied to add an aged effect. Sandy also used some gold leaf on the legs and trim and added a mandala inspired design on the front which was created with a stencil and some free hand painting. Finally, it was protected with satin topcoat. What a fabulous piece of furniture! Great job, Sandy!
