All our paint brands are suitable for use outside and are perfect for adding colour to your next garden party. And as Easter approaches this weekend and we are finally allowed to have a few friends and family members in our gardens, what better time to throw your first garden party of the year?! You may have already freshened up your outdoor furniture but what about those extra pieces that make your garden décor pop?
Make your own bunting by stringing together leftover fabric pieces or making some out of card (or pick up a readymade bunting kit from craft store!) Paint the bunting flags in your chosen colour palette – if you’re feeling arty you could hand-paint your own design or use one of our stencils. Bunting is also fab for painting letters to create an Easter greeting! You can also update paper garden lanterns with a lick of paint and give them a new lease of life.
Bring an old tablecloth and napkins up to date by painting them in your favourite stencil design or create your own bunny, chick and egg themed design that you can bring out year after year for Easter celebrations. In the spotlight this week is Paul Estall with this super fancy drinks cabinet! Isn’t it fab? Paul transformed the plain wood and glass cabinet by painting it with Dixie Belle Silk All In One Mineral Paint in Deep Sea and highlighting areas using Posh Chalk Pigments in Copper. The cabinet was lined in copper leaf giving it an expensive and chic finish. It was Paul's first time using Deep Sea and he is now a big fan!
